With over two decades of experience as sensory herbalists, the Seed SistAs invite you to an immersive exploration of the Nightshade family. We bridge the gap between magic and medicine, embodying the plants to deepen our understanding and connection.

Do you talk to plants? We certainly do, and some of them literally will not shut up! Come and listen to two superstars of the plant world, the Solanacea SistAs.

Meet the Hot and Sassy Carolina Reaper-Sol and the lunar temptress Davina Moonflower. Prepped to bend your ear about all manner of things, they are keen to tell tales of witches, shamans, and medicine folk across the globe—their more ethereal practices and what it all means anyway.

Come meet the fruity Queens of the Solanaceae and hear all about how an ancient maligned herbal preparation (the witch’s flying ointment) has opened the doors to the reunification of cultivation, health, and magic! Join us to discover how engaging our senses and intuition within the poison realm can enhance herbal education and personal transformation.

What the Audience will learn

In this talk, the audience will learn how to use their senses and intuition to connect more deeply with the mysterious and magical plants of the Nightshade family—transforming their understanding of herbalism through embodied, sensory experience.

About Seed SistAs

Kaz Goodweather and Fiona Heckels are the Seed SistAs—clinical herbalists of over 20 years with a deep love and fascination for the so-called witching herbs of old.
Passionately potty about plants and total herbal drama queens, they enjoy dressing up as plants, creating fun and enlivening online content, and playing with all manner of potions.

Guided by the plants themselves, they continually push creative boundaries, blending
storytelling, herbal medicine, and folklore. Their mission is to empower people to
reconnect with the plants around them and use them as simple, accessible remedies in
everyday life.
The Seed SistAs run a Community Interest Company (CIC), Sensory Solutions
Herbal Evolution, dedicated to planting and supporting community herb gardens while
fostering empowered, resilient communities that care for their local green spaces.
