Iridology and Herbal Medicine — Root Cause Practice for the Whole Person
I am Sarah Turton, a Master Medicinal Herbalist and Iridologist with six years of clinical practice and clinics in Oxford, Sussex, and Chelsea, London.
My work is built on a simple but exacting principle: that lasting health change requires understanding the terrain of the body, not simply managing its symptoms. To do that well, I need to see clearly — and iridology gives me that clarity.
During every initial consultation I examine both irises under magnification, reading the fibre structure, pigmentation, density, and zone markings to build a constitutional picture of the person in front of me. Combined with a detailed case history, this reveals patterns that a symptom list alone would not — where inflammatory load is concentrated, where elimination pathways are under pressure, where the nervous system is driving the wider picture, and where emotional experience has shaped physiological function over time.
From this I design a bespoke herbal programme, sequenced according to what the body needs first. Formulas are precise and purposeful — I work with simple, targeted prescriptions rather than complex combinations, and I adjust them at every review as the terrain shifts.
I am committed to the ongoing development of my clinical practice and regularly attend professional conferences and educational events to deepen my knowledge.
