I started my Holistic Health care practice in 2002. I practice as a Herbalist, using naturopathic approaches and Iridology. Meadowsweet was my Grandmother`s favourite plant, when she lived on a farm in rural Herefordshire. Apart from it`s beauty and scent, it has some amazing medicinal properties. Its original Latin name Spiraea ulmaria is a hint how Felix Hoffmann produced acetylsalicylic acid in aspirin and used salicin produced from meadowsweet.
Holistic Health addresses the tapestry of parts of the whole person, whole system, a comprehensive approach versus just looking at individual parts. Considering the mind, body, emotions, spirit, social and environment and nature, so lifestyle medicine too. Focussing on root cause healing, not just symptoms. Looking at how they all interconnect, using integrative and natural approaches. This may include the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual aspects. A Holistic Health Practitioner looks at causes and imbalances of these interconnected dimensions and enabling understanding of one’s own innate healing potential, working together in a non-judgemental and empathetic relationship, together exploring solutions to the challenges experienced. All using natural and non-intrusive interventions
I can meet you online as well as offering telephone consultations.
If you are local, we could meet face to face in the rural clinic or in the wild herb garden, full of wild, native plants and trees, as I see the therapeutic benefits of being in nature.
Apart from Herbalism, I also offer a wide range of talking Therapies, including a range of therapeutic interventions. I have Advanced Hypnotherapy qualifications and I am trained in Psychotherapy.
As a qualified and experienced in Life coaching with NLP and a Careers adviser, feel more empowered to find ways to get to where you want to be, removing any perceived barriers. Removing medical labels to finding potential and have had the pleasure to work with and gain some understanding of outstanding uniqueness from Neurodivergent, autistic individuals over a few decades.
Or have some relaxing `hands on` Reflexology and Indian head massage, Reiki and mindfulness treatments.
Or/ and learn mindfulness and have an individual hypnotherapy audio, with positive suggestions, depending on what you may choose and want to change, to help support you relax on a deeper level when at home.
