How to Join

Joining the Association of Master Herbalists

Practitioner Member Requirements:

  1. Professional qualification in Herbal Medicine from a western herbal medicine course that is either accredited or has met our mapping requirements.
  2. Professional Indemnity insurance to a minimum value of £1m.
  3. Curriculum vitae (including your life history, job history, achievements and skills).
  4. 2 x pre-written personal/character references (these can be from a friend, colleague, tutor etc).
  5. Recent colour ID photograph (head and shoulders only please).

A COPY OF ALL RELEVANT CERTIFICATES MUST BE UPLOADED WITH YOUR FORM SUBMISSION

*First Aid Certificate is highly recommended but not essential (EFAW emergency first aid at work is sufficient)

Joining Fee:

£180*

*to be paid pro-rata

*First year is FREE for new graduates.

Student Member Requirements:

  1. Evidence that you are studying a professional qualification in Western Herbal Medicine. READ MORE

Joining Fee:

£25 one-off joining fee for duration of study until graduation.
